A couple of weeks ago, we shared that one of the benefits of being a FACT Member was the ability to apply for community grants. Did you also know that FACT also offers classroom grants?
Especially now, we encourage members to nominate a teacher for a grant to enhance their classrooms! Unsure what the teacher in your life may need? Ask for some inspiration, all teachers have a wish list! Our grant awards range from $100 to $2,500. Submit your application at any time. Applications for classroom grants are reviewed and awarded quarterly.

“Yesterday, the Extreme Robo Ops team that FACT sponsored competed in an all-day robotics competition. The team has been meeting twice a week since receiving the grant and gave a great effort at the competition. In fact, of the 11 teams competing at this location in the state, we received the Research Award. This would not have been possible without the generous support of FACT to our team. In addition to having fun, the boys learned many leadership, technical and communication skills in the process. We intend to continue meeting and improving on our skills for next year’s competition.” – Kim H.
“I am thrilled to have been selected for this grant, and I wanted to let you know that even more than the finances is the encouragement that your organization would recognize the importance of this opportunity for our kids. Because you have endorsed it financially, I have also been successful in getting more donations. I am confident that we will have a playground that will be even more beneficial due to your generosity.” – Kay C.
“Just a personal note from all of the families and parent volunteers to say thank you for selecting the Franklin High School art club to receive a FACT grant! It is hard to put into words what a difference this money will make to the students. The kids will now continue to have a place to go after school – a place to fit in, be accepted, and learn serious art skills and techniques. I wish you could meet some of them personally – such a great and diverse group. Today in club the kids will be cutting, designing & hand painting holiday greeting cards using watercolors and oils. They always turn out beautifully and look good enough to pass as professionally done. Did we say thank you yet? Seriously, please know how much we appreciate this gift!” – Kelly B.
